Horst A. Friedrichs – Drive Style
Interesting people drive interesting cars; this is what Horst A. Friedrichs sets out to prove in his book "Drive Style", a tribute to the British vintage car scene. Born in 1966 in Frankfurt, the renowned photographer accompanied his subjects to automobile meetings and events throughout the country capturing the unique atmosphere in vivid and precise images. On every page the reader is given a special glimpse of the world of vintage cars and their passionate fans. In front of their Bugattis, Aston Martins and Minis the drivers pose stylishly in exclusive leather jackets, elegant tweed coats or with classic pocket squares as a rally accessory. Following "Or Glory" and "Cycle Style", "Drive Style" is already Friedrichs' fifth title published by Prestel Verlag and another reason to admire the beauty of times gone by.

Tom Dixon – Dixonary
Since the 80s, Tom Dixon has been considered a true star of the design scene – whether chairs, tables or lamp series, his consistently innovative designs have made him a world-renowned celebrity. In "Dixonary", the British designer reveals for the first time the inspirations behind his pieces from over 30 years of work. Illustrated with photos and sketches, Dixon explains in his own words what surprising ideas gave birth to his products, such as a chair-seat from a Chinese fish dish or how a photograph of flamingos led to the "Felt Shade Tripod Stand" lamp. The 600-page hardcover volume is published by Violette Editions, and is a must – not just for lovers of design.
