12 hoursIn New York City

What is it like to attend New York Fashion Week? Fashion blogger Kristina Bazan shares her 12-hour experience of the BOSS Fashion Show Fall/Winter 2014.
"Waking up at “The Standard, High Line” hotel was pure bliss, the view over the Meatpacking District just phenomenal from my room. Unfortunately I was feeling a little ill that morning, so we decided to stay in rathern than running between meetings and shows that morning. James and I chose to indulge with a typical American breakfast, Eggs Benedict, and some granola and berries on the side.
After writing a few e-mails I got ready and added a little touch of BOSS Jour to complete my total look for the day out in town. We headed to the show location and enjoyed some time backstage. It was fantastic to see the models getting ready, especially since I have a big crush on Edie Campbell. She's definitely my favorite model of the moment. Loved feeling the pressure rising before Jason Wu's first collection for BOSS. I decided to quickly change into my fashion show look, a gorgeous white bodycon dress which was the perfect evolution from my morning casual style."
"Once seated next to my lovely friend Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper Vintage, the show began. I had an absolute blast and was mesmerized by this new BOSS Woman, evolving right before my eyes. The pieces were modern, sophisticated, super structured, yet very versatile. Some more romantic, some totally formal, some of them perfect signatures of Jason Wu's aesthetics. He definitely brought something super fresh to the brand.
Once the show finished I had the pleasure of meeting my favorite photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh who worked on the new campaign of the brand that I loved sharing with my readers. It was so interesting to have a quick chat with them.
Thank you so much for having me. It was a real honor to be part of this symbolic moment in the history of the BOSS brand."
