Shanghai affairsFall/ Winter 2013

The BOSS Fall/Winter 2013 collection was presented with a spectacular fashion show at the art gallery Power Station of Art on May 30 and broadcast to the entire world via live stream from the vibrant metropolis of Shanghai.

International top models presented the new collection titled “Conceptual Luxury” on a zig-zag catwalk which was lit up by LED lightning bolts. The show enthralled the guests in Shanghai, including Asian and international stars such as Carey Mulligan, Gerard Butler, and Chow Yun, as well as the guests watching the live stream on the internet. There were two very special highlights for online guests: For the first time ever, a film had been made about the story behind the fashion show . Director Noam Griegst created the evocative two-part fashion film “Shanghai Affairs” with Lin Chiling and Jon Kortajarena in the leading roles to set the mood for the fashion-conscious audience in the run-up to the BOSS fashion show in Shanghai. Another unique extra for all internet viewers: Online guests had the chance to order exclusive, limited-edition show looks straight off the catwalk. Womenswear featured eye-catching details such as glamorous embroidery and architectural cut-outs. Menswear presented a luxurious combination of traditional tailoring, modern fabrics, and extravagant details.

With the fashion show in Shanghai, BOSS has added another must-attend event to the international fashion calendar and we are all eager to see which fashion highlights will follow in 2014.
