First class time outGlamping in Africa’s wilderness

Hidden away in the untamed nature of the hot continent, these selected camping havens offer the maximum level of comfort.

Ngala Tented Camp
Safari style! – This sophisticated camp is located on the border of the Kruger National Park, the largest animal and wildlife resort in South Africa. Nine elegantly decorated tent-houses combine the classic safari look with modern design and quality furniture. The tented camp offers every comfort in the ensconcing wilderness: in addition to a spacious common pool, each room has a sumptuous sleeping area with glazed fronts, a classy bathroom with stone walls and an outdoor shower. All of the house's verandas overlook the Timbavati riverbed, allowing you to observe bathing elephants or rhinos from a safe distance. Game drives or bush walks can be booked through Ngala Tented Camp and offer great game viewing opportunities of the Big Five, all of which are at home in the reserve.

Greystoke Mahale
Into the wild! – There are no roads or even pathways leading to the hidden Greystoke Camp in Tanzania. Several hours intrepid journey by small planes and boats are required to get to this unspoiled spot. It is a long trip, but the effort is worth it: on the Eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, set in the shade of palm trees are six exclusive wood and thatch huts. From the huge sun deck in front of the luxurious bedroom of this charming accommodation, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the turquoise water of the sea and the forests and mountains of Mahale National Park. A romantic dinner on the restaurant terrace or an Alfresco glass of red wine by the rock bar on the beach ends the perfect day at Greystoke Mahale.

Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
Down by the river! – The Xaranna Camp is set amidst the pristine wilderness of Botswana. Due to the numerous water channels, vast lagoons and wetlands, this camp can only be reached by plane and Mokoro, the style of boat typical to the region. Following a traditional welcome including folk songs, guests make their way to nine stylishly appointed tented suites, which blend perfectly into their surroundings due to the use of light woods and subtle shades of green. Modern and discreet, the mix of natural materials and harmonious colors creates a relaxing, feel-good atmosphere. Floating on small stilts in the open air, the camp restaurant invites you to enjoy African culinary specialties, whilst you take in the expansive countryside under a starry sky.
